Description
Pepperoni Cheese Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make snack featuring soft, golden-brown dough wrapped around melty cheese and savory pepperoni. Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or even a quick meal, these rolls are a favorite among kids and adults alike!
Ingredients
1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
6 oz sliced pepperoni
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
Layer the fillings – evenly spread mozzarella cheese, followed by slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
Roll the dough tightly from the long edge, forming a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
Cut into slices about 1-inch thick and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush with egg wash to give them a golden finish. Then, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning and brush it over the rolls.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Let cool slightly, then serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Substitute crescent roll dough for a flakier texture.
Add diced jalapeños or crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
